  'Virtual Arena 2' coming up
CA

Since the V-street.net powered 'Virtual Arena' in 2005, e-Sports have come a long way! There's now a 'Virtual Arena 2' coming up this weekend, which promises to be bigger and better than its predecessor, with not just Counter-Strike 1.6 but also DotA (Defense of the Ancients), the famous multiplayer map from Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne. 'Virtual Arena 2' will see DotA played in GG- Client (a gaming platform), in v-street.net's high level room with minimum entry level of 15. V-street promises gamers a 11k GG experience, complete with free TeamSpeak six-months server facility and steel pad gaming gears. Meanwhile, gamers can get busy fragging opponents while playing Counter-Strike 1.6 in the e-Sports section of 'Virtual Arena 2'. With the tourney spreading its wings to the UAE this year, winners from there will get to battle it out with the Indian Champions in the grand finale. Prizes worth Rs 55,000 in cash, steel gaming gear, etc, stand to be won. Those interested in participating in 'Virtual Arena 2', registrations close on December 5th. The online tourney is on at v-street.net on December 8th and 9th, with the grand finale later this month. This year, competition is expected to be fierce, to say the least.
